The Territorial Employment Pact The political basis for initiating the Oresund project was the signing of The Territorial Employment Pact, which made the Oresund region a model region within the EU. The Oresund Comittee Thus, the governments of Sweden and Denmark have given first priority to the project, and within recent years a large variety of activities have been initiated - and financially supported - to speed up the integration at all levels.
